3 Injured In 11-Car Pile-Up During I-45N Morning Rush Hour
2 kids and an adult suffered minor injuries in a 11-vehicle pile-up on I-45 northbound Monday morning, police said.
HOUSTON — Three people, including two children, were injured in an 11-vehicle pile-up on northbound Interstate 45 during Monday morning rush hour. The crash happened on I-45 at W. Mt. Houston Road at about 6:15 a.m.
The two children and an adult were traveling in a Hyundai Accent and suffered only minor injuries.
Police are still trying to determine what triggered the pile-up that closed all northbound lanes for several hours.

The main lanes northbound reopened at about 9 a.m. Charges have not been filed, officials said.
