Back-To-School Bash Has Free School Supplies – And An Ex-LA Laker
The 5th Annual Back-to-School Bash will offer free haircuts and immunizations, as well as a basketball tourney and food.

HOUSTON, TX – Back-to-School season is in full swing, and Harris County Precinct 1 Constable Alan Rosen is pumping up the kids and the parents with the 5th Annual Back to School Bash and Basketball Tournament on Saturday. The Back-to-School bash takes place at Eisenhower High School at 7922 Antoine Drive.
School supplies, haircuts, immunizations and health screenings are offered free of charge, for those who pre-register. Check-in starts at 8:30 am, and the basketball tournament begins at 10 am.
Parents can register kids ages 6-17 to participate in the 3-on-3 basketball tournament facing off against Precinct 1 deputies, and former Los Angeles Laker Maurice Evans, for a fun game on the court.

Kids and parents can also enjoy free food, check out the college fair, and enjoy music, prizes and games.
“This is going to be a fun event. Citizens can interact with law enforcement in a positive setting. We can’t do what we do in law enforcement, without the assistance and support of the community. So, this is our way of getting everyone together to fellowship, and have a good time. I look forward to meeting all the families and friends,” Rosen said.

The Back-to-School Bash is part of the Building Bridges outreach program geared toward bringing law enforcement and youth together.
Target, the event corporate sponsor, has provided a generous donation for the distribution of free school supplies. Parents can pre-register by calling 713- 755-3372 or email Erica.davis@cn1.hctx.net.
