• I-45 southbound shut down at Cottage Street after person hit and killed (khou.com) — Southbound I-45 at Cottage Street in Houston is shut down after a pedestrian wearing dark clothing was struck and killed Sunday evening, and there’s still no estimate for reopening. Houston police say the victim’s identity and driver details remain unknown, so drivers are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes while the investigation continues.
