Bomb Threats In Houston, Harris County Not Credible: Police
Houston and Harris County, are among dozens of communities in the U.S. that received emailed bomb threats on Thursday.

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Police Department and the Harris County Sheriff's Office are among the dozens of law enforcement agencies in the U.S. investigating emailed bomb threats businesses and universities.
The Houston Police and the Harris County Sheriff's Office both published Twitter messages indicating the were aware of threats in Houston and Harris County, but didn't reveal how many locations, or which locations received threats.
Like other law enforcement agencies across the country, we have received several reported bomb threats. None of the Houston calls were valid. We remind everyone to remain vigilant and if you see something suspicious, please report it immediately. #hounews

The Rosenberg Police in Fort Bend County said on their Twitter page that they'd received two email bomb threats that they were investigating in their community. However, like all the others, they have proved to be false.

Other Texas cities receiving threats include Arlington, near Dallas, Austin, and Round Rock located north of Austin.
According to a CNN report, similar emails were received at University of Washington in Seattle, San Francisco, and Penn State University.

Other threats have also been made ate locations in New York, Chicago, Atlantas, and Miami.
