1. The jury reached a verdict in the case of a man charged in the murder of 11-year-old Josue Flores. Andre Jackson has been found guilty. Flores was stabbed roughly 20 times with a pocketknife nearly six years ago while walking home from school. (Click2Houston)

2. A Houston-area fashion store owner was shot to death during an attempted robbery at the man's business back in March, according to deputies. On Tuesday, the man's family, along with authorities, made a plea to the public to help identify the three suspects involved in his murder. (ABC 13)

3. A man is dead following a high speed crash that involved several teenagers on Monday around 9:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of Fry Road, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. Now, one of the teens, a 17-year-old, has been charged with DWI, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. (KHOU 11)

4. Café Louie, an all-day café inspired by Mediterranean flavors, will officially open to the public on Wednesday, May 11. In addition to a café serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the space will also be home to Little Red Box Grocery, a non-profit grocer. (CultureMap Houston)

5. Chicago-style pizza restaurant, Rosati's Pizza, will be opening in The Woodlands area at 4150 FM 1488, Ste. 120, on Monday, May 9. The location will feature a drive-thru when it opens. The first Chicago location was founded in 1927. (Community Impact Newspaper)
