Chevrolet Celebrates Newest Astros Fans At Discovery Green Today

HOUSTON, TX -- It's been nine months since the Houston Astros won their first World Series, and, apparently, the team's fans celebrated the occasion with gusto behind closed doors.

It’s really no secret that big sports wins can spur a baby boom among fans. That's why, nine months after the Astros became world champs, Chevy has invited those families and their World Series babies to Discovery Green on Wednesday from 12-2 p.m.

Chevrolet is celebrating Houston’s newest group of Astros fans with an interactive family celebration at the urban park in downtown Houston that will include family fun activities.

Families are urged to don their favorite Astros gear while taking in free Blue Bell ice cream and other fun activities, while also learning from safety experts on how to keep families safe during the summer.

Discovery Green is located at 1500 McKinney Street in downtown Houston.
