FBI Searching For Robber Dressed As A Security Guard
A man wearing a security guards uniform robbed a Capital One Bank in southeast Houston on Wednesday.
HOUSTON — The FBI Violent Crime Task Force is looking for a man who robbed A Capital One a bank on Wednesday wearing a security guards uniform. The robbery happened at approximately 9:05 a.m. on June 5, at the Capitol One Bank located at 11408 Gulf Freeway in southeast Houston.
Witnesses said the man came into the bank wearing a security guard uniform and armed with a semiautomatic handgun.
Witnesses told investigators that the robber pointed the gun at bank employees and ordered everyone to lay on the lobby floor.

The robber ordered the tellers to give him the money and threatened to shoot them if they didn't do as they were told.
The robber then fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash in a white envelope. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The robber is described as a black male in his late 40s or early 50s, approximately 5-feet-9, with a thin build.
During the robbery, he wore a black long-sleeved shirt with a gold badge emblem, khaki pants, a black bandanna tied around his head, and a black baseball cap which had “Security” written on the front.
