1. Former Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is facing another lawsuit alleging sexual misconduct in connection with a massage he received in 2020. The lawsuit was filed Monday morning in Harris County. (KHOU 11)

2. Kyle Rittenhouse, who last November was acquitted of killing two people and injuring a third during a racial injustice protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, wore a Texas A&M hat during a podcast appearance last week and claimed he would be attending the College Station school. The school has shut down the allegations though. (Texas Patch)

3. A new upcoming bar, called Austin's on Heights street features a mural that says, "Welcome to Austin," and in smaller letters below, "in the Heights." The concept will open this summer and further details are not being released at this time. (Chron)

4. Fort Bend ISD has started offering free breakfast and lunch to all students. The district is offering these meals for students both enrolled in the district and not, according to a district announcement. (Community Impact News)

5. A teenage girl's body was pulled from Brays Bayou on Monday afternoon several hours after the vehicle she was in plunged off a bridge in eastern Houston. The victim was one of three teens who were in a vehicle that authorities say lost control and went off a bridge in the 100 block of Broadway near Hockley Street. Two of the teens managed to free themselves and make it to safety. (ABC 13)

  • A prayer vigil and rally was held Monday outside the Toyota Center for WNBA star and Houston native Brittney Griner. The U.S. government says she was wrongly detained in Russia. Griner was arrested more than 100 days ago. (Twitter)
  • Texas prison officials suspended inmate transports on Monday in the wake of a convicted murderer who managed to escape and is accused of killing 4 kids and their grandfather while on the run. (ABC 13)
  • An East Harris County cement facility accused of violating Texas environmental laws by polluting the air and water has agreed to pay $480,000 in penalties as part of a settlement with the Harris County Attorney’s office. (Subscription: Houston Chronicle)
