Have You Seen Him? Sex Offender Escapes Houston Half-way House

Police are looking for Jerry Don Seib, 53, who had a previous conviction on five counts of Indecency with Child in Kerr County.

HOUSTON, TX -- A habitual sex offender from Kerr County is on the loose in Houston, and police are asking for help finding him. Jerry Don Seib, 53, who had a previous conviction on five counts of Indecency with Child in Kerr County, escaped from a halfway house in the 10900 block of Beaumont Highway in Houston, officials said.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest. The escape is a violation of his parole, and police are concerned because Seib is considered a high-risk Sex Offender.

Furthermore, Seib also has a history of violence and narcotics use, officials said in a press release.

He is a white male and is bald with blue eyes, about 5-feet-11 and weighs about 200 pounds. He has a scar on his left eyebrow area and a tattoo on his right ankle.

Seib is considered dangerous and anyone who sees him is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
