Here are the top five stories in Houston today:
1. A 10-month-old girl was left in a hot vehicle for several hours on Friday, May 20, in Houston, according to police. The baby was transported a hospital where she was later pronounced deceased. The outdoor temperature that day was 90 degrees. An investigation is ongoing. (Spectrum News)
2. Nearly one month after 29-year-old Jalen Randle was shot and killed by officers, the Houston Police Department released bodycam videos from the incident. The officer who discharged his weapon and shot Randle has been identified as S. Privette. He was sworn in as an officer in December 2014 and is assigned to the Narcotics Division. (Click2Houston)
3. A mechanical issue trapped some window washers on the 50th floor of a downtown high-rise building at 1100 Louisiana on Tuesday who were then rescued, according to the Houston Fire Department. Firefighters help solve the mechanical issue so the workers could get to safety. (KHOU 11)
4. Half Baked Cookies is opening a new location at 28155 Business 249, Ste. 6, Tomball, today, according to owner Stephanie Ferreira. Customers can enjoy a free chocolate chip cookie. (Community Impact News)
