Homicide Investigators Search For Clues In North Houston Father's Murder

The Harris County Sheriff's Dept. is asking for residents to help identify two males involved in a car jacking murder.

HOUSTON, TX -- Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide investigators released video surveillance of two men accused of killing a 47-year old man during a carjacking on March 11, and is asking for the public's help in identifying the two men.

On March 11th, 2017, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Pedro Aguilar, and his wife and daughter came home to their apartment in the 800 block of Richcrest.

While Aguilar was their car near the front gate of the complex, two men came over and tried to carjack them.

One of the men, described as a black male carrying a handgun, pulled Pedro Aguilar from the vehicle and shot and killed him.

Both the men fled on foot after they were unable to drive the standard transmission car.

The man with the hand gun was described as a black male wearing a black hoodie, and the second man was described as a light skinned black male, or possibly a Hispanic male, wearing a long sleeve white shirt.

Investigators said both were possibly dropped off for the robbery by a small white vehicle.
