Harris County Teen Killed Rollerblading On Dark Street: Police
A teen who was rollerblading on a dark street may never have heard the car behind him because of the earbuds he was wearing.

HOUSTON, TX — A teenager was hit by a car and killed while rollerblading on a poorly lit street on Friday morning, police said.
The accident happened at about 6:30 a.m. in the 19400 block of E. Hardy Road, north of FM 1960 in Spring.
Investigators said the teen, who is believed to have been between 14- and 19-years-old, was rollerblading and wearing earbuds, when he was struck by a car.

The driver of the car stopped and called police. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
