Friday Night Lights: Find Out If Your Team Won
The High School Football Season has arrived in Texas and the Houston area. Check out this week's games and follow the action.

HOUSTON -- The 2018 Texas high school football season has begun and teams throughout the Greater Houston area took the field in Friday night action. In Tomball, it was the Wildcats from Tomball Memorial defeating the Tomball Cougars 34-18 in the cross-town rivals annual Patriotic Game.
Other games included the Northshore Mustangs defeating the Katy Tigers 35-21, and the Cy-Fair Bobcats topping the Woodlands Highlanders 27-7. The Spring Lions won their season opener against the Alief Elsik Rams 47-6, while the Langham Creek Lobos fell to the Klein Oak Panthers 35-27.

Some teams recorded wins in games played Thursday. The Grand Oaks Grizzlies won big defeating the KIPP Tigers 62-6. Klein Oak defeated the Taylor Lions 47-13 and the Kingwood Mustangs lost to 21-14 to the Ridge Point Panthers.
