Holiday Hours For Houston And Harris County
Employees in Houston and Harris County will be enjoying the holiday season with their families like everyone else, so plan accordingly.

HOUSTON, TX — The season of giving is here, and everything, except vital emergency services will be closed up to allow families to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. That means city and county offices will also be closed.
You can see the holiday schedule below:
City of Houston offices will close early on Dec. 24, and will be closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

The holiday season also means trash and recycling will also vary. For trash and recycling collection, click here.
Offices in Harris County will be closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 25, 2018 and on Jan. 1, 2019. Trash schedules will vary per your location near Houston.

Other services that will be closed during the holiday include courts and libraries. Police, fire, EMS and hospitals will be available.
