HOUSTON-- Police have charged a 21-year-old man with the January beating death of his infant daughter. Adrian Lizcano is charged with murdering his daughter, who was just 15-days-old when she died, police said.

Police were dispatched to the Memorial Herman Greater Heights Hospital at 4:20 a.m. on Jan. 30, after an infant reportedly died from severe injuries.

Hospital staffers told police Lizcano has brought his child to the hospital and that she'd died. Physicians told police they'd examined the baby and discovered she had skull fractures that were described as non-accidental, which had caused bleeding on her brain and lead to her death.
