Houston Police Search For Robbery Suspect

From Houston Crime Stoppers: A man robbed the Prosperity Bank located at 9155 W Sam Houston Parkway N at about 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, May 16. Attached is video from the bank’s security cameras. The robber is described as an extremely thin white male, approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall. He was wearing glasses, a black and white long-sleeve shirt, and dark slacks. He wore a plaid fedora hat which he dropped and was recovered by investigators.

The suspect entered the bank with a duffle bag. He showed a weapon and a couple of devices which he claimed were explosives and demanded money. After receiving and undisclosed amount of cash, he fled on foot, leaving behind the two devices which were later to be deemed harmless. Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of these bank robbers.
