A Houston Resident Won A $1 Million Prize In Friday's Mega Millions Drawing

HOUSTON, TX — A Houston resident has claimed a $1 million prize from Friday's Mega Millions drawing, according to the Texas Lottery.

The person, who elected to remain anonymous, bought the ticket at Circle M #2 Food Store on Aldine Westfield Road in Aldine. The winning ticket matched the five white ball numbers (11-41-43-44-65), but not the Mega Ball (13). An additional win worth $510, gave the person a prize total of $1,000,510.

Mega Millions drawings occur every Tuesday and Friday.

After nobody won the Mega Millions jackpot in Tuesday's drawing, the jackpot is up to an estimated $131 million with a $74.9 million cash option. The overall chances of winning any prize, from $2 to the jackpot, are 1 in 24.
