Houston's Freedom Over Texas Festival Called Off Because Of Rain
Houston's annual Freedom over Texas festival has been canceled, but the spectacular fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. will go on as planned.

HOUSTON, TX -- Houston's annual Freedom Over Texas festival at Eleanor Tinsley Park has been called off because of the rain.
City officials said the park on the banks on Buffalo Bayou is completely drenched, making for a messy and muddy venue.

As a result, city officials have closed the area to the general public.
However, the spectacular fireworks display planned for 9:30 p.m., will go on as planned.
