HPD Arrest Wanted Oklahoma Woman After High-Speed Chase

HOUSTON, TX -- A woman wanted by police in Oklahoma was arrested after leading police on a while chase up and down Interstate 45, that ultimately ended in Anahuac, near Baytown.

The chase began in southeast Houston at about 10:30 p.m., when a Houston Police officer saw a car running red lights and stop signs.

When the officer tried to pull the driver over, she took off.

Police learned the car was reported stolen out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and that the female driver was wanted on forgery charges, KHOU reported.

During the pursuit, the driver, identified as Christina Diann Holsey, 33, and her male passenger, identified as Leslie Hellard, 32, began tossing counterfeit money from the car and drugs from the car windows.

Police eventually managed to stop the car in Anahuac, and arrested the Holsey and Hellard.

Along with the charges in Oklahoma, the Holsey is facing charges in Texas for felony evading and possession of counterfeit money, KTRK reported.

Hellard faces charges for forgery and possession with intent to deliver controlled substance.
