HPD Officer Suspended After DWI Arrest
HPD Officer William Lacy was suspended Sunday just hours after he was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.

HUMBLE, TX — A Houston police officer was suspended on Sunday the day after he was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
According to the Department of Public Safety, Officer William Lacy, 46, was pulled over for a traffic violation about 11:30 p.m. on North Park Drive and FM 494 in Humble.
Police said that Lacy exhibited signs of intoxication, and was taken to the Montgomery County Jail after a blood sample was drawn.

Lacy was later released on bond.
Officials with the Houston Police Department said Lacy was relieved of duty pending the outcome of the investigation.

This was Lacy’s first DWI offense, KPRC reported.
