Hurricane Harvey: Houston-Area HEB Stores That Are Open And Closed

Hurricane Harvey, now Tropical Storm Harvey, a rain event so unprecedented that weather officials say the impact is unknown, has brought down and astounding amounts of rain in Texas. Houston, the fourth-most populous city in the United States is virtually underwater and authorities are working around the clock to rescue residents in the city and in surrounding areas whose homes have been flooded.

As Texans and Houstonians recover from the unprecedented flooding, the Texas grocery store H-E-B has updated its list of stores that are open and closed. While the list of stores that are open or closed is subject to change, here's the latest information from H-E-B:

UPDATE: Stores open in the Houston region Aug. 29 (Information updated at 3:44 p.m.):

Houston Region:
The Houston Retail Support Center is closed today 8/29.
Stores Open as of 8/29 at 9 a.m. Stores close at 3 p.m. unless noted below:

1. Brenham (Closing at midnight)
2. Bryan 3 (Closing at midnight)
3. Bryan 1 (Closing at midnight)
4. Carthage (Closing at 10 p.m.)
5. College Station 1 (Open 24 hours)
6. College Station 2 (Closing at midnight)

9. Lufkin (Closing at 11 p.m.)
