Husband Arrested: May Face Charges In Wife's Rape

HOUSTON, TX — The husband of a woman who was sexually assaulted in her Afton Oaks home on May 8 has been arrested and charged in the attack.

The attack was reported at a home on Shetland Lane.

According to initial reports, the woman’s husband came home from picking up the couple’s children and found his wife covered with blood.

He immediately called 911 to report his wife had been attacked.

When questioned, the woman told police two men had broken into the home and raped her.

Police learned of the husband’s alleged involvement in the attack during their investigation, and he was arrested on Thursday.

However, investigators have not said how he could be involved or what charges he could face.

Police are still investigating.
