Escaped Inmate Tracked Down In North Harris County: Police

Jaquaylyn Momon, who was out on bond on an aggravated assault charge, fled after learning his bond was being revoked, police said.

HOUSTON, TX – A Harris County inmate who escaped the custody of deputies inside the Harris County Courthouse on Thursday has been caught, police said. Jaquaylyn Momon, 21, had been on the run for more 24 hours when he was tracked down by members of the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task at a home in the 21800 block of N. Werrington Way Friday evening, officials with the Harris County Sheriffs Office said.

Investigators said that Mormon, who was free on bond on an aggravated assault charge, became angry when he learned his Bond was beingtevoked.

Momon managed to slip away from deputies on the 12th flood of the courthouse.

Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and the Precinct 1 Constables Office are searched the area for Momon, and detained one man whom they believed was Momon Thursday afternoon.
