Man Found Shot To Death In Mattress One Store

HOUSTON, TX -- Houston Police are investigating the shooting death of a man found inside the Mattress One store in the 4400 block of the North Freeway at Crosstimbers.

Police were called to the store about 2:20 p.m. by Houston Fire Department officials who had responded to a report of an injured man.

However, when they arrived, the man was dead from a gunshot wound.

According to a KPRC report, a customer came into the store, and when no one could be found, called another store and reported that the store was empty.

A short time later, he found the man shot in the back of the store and called for help. This is the second shooting death at a mattress store in recent days.

On Saturday night, 28-year-old Allie Barrow was found shot to death inside the Mattress Firm store across from Willowbrook Mall.
