Man Takes Woman To Hotel, She Books, He Shoots Her: Police
A woman apparently had a change of heart about her date, took his pickup and was shot as she tried to get away, police said.

HOUSTON, TX – There has got to be a country and western song to accompany the events that transpired outside the Pearl Inn Motel near Beltway 8 and West Bellfort Ave in southwest Houston early Monday morning.
According to police reports, a man stopped into the hotel to book a room at 4 a.m. The woman he was with, whom he'd just met, drove off while he was inside, police said.
Police said the man who was carrying a gun, saw the woman hurrying off in his pickup and ran outside. The man fired several shots at his pickup as it sped out of the parking lot.
