HOUSTON, TX — A man who was wanted for his role in a drive-by shooting that injured a 7-year-old boy last weekend turned himself in, police said.
Omarion Philip Bailey, 19, is in the Harris County Jail and is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, officials said. His bond is set at $185,000.
Bailey had been on the run since Dec. 8, when he allegedly shot into a vehicle that was driven by an 18-year-old man who had his 6- and 7-year-old brothers in the car.

Witnesses said Bailey was driving a late model Dodge Stratos, when he saw the 18-year-old man driving a Cadillac Escalade at the corner of Fort Stanton and Grey Hawk in far west Harris County.
The victim told police that Bailey shot at the vehicle while it was stopped at the intersection. The bullet missed the driver and hit the boy, who was hit by gunfire in the upper back.
