METRO Offers Free Bus Rides To The Polls

Don't have a ride to exercise your right to vote? METRO is offering free rides to the polls until 7 p.m.

HOUSTON, TX — Don't have a ride to cast your vote?

The Houston METRO has you covered. As is the norm for election season, METRO is offering free rides to the polls to Houston area voters until 7 p.m. Tuesday night.

Voters can ride at no charge on METRORail, local buses, and METROLift paratransit services.

Voters should inform bus operators or fare inspectors they are going to or returning from the polls in order to receive the free rides.

Free rides were also offered to voters during the early voting period last week.
