1. The Houston SPCA Wildlife Center of Texas rescued dozens of migratory birds that were found trapped and injured in trash bags in Cypress on Friday. The birds suffered many injuries, including broken wings, mangled legs and internal injuries, and 67 were dead when Texas Parks and Wildlife found them. (Houston Patch)
2. A 35-year-old Houston man was set to make his appearance in federal court on Tuesday for allegedly committing multiple bank robberies in the Houston area, according to U.S. Attorney Jennifer B. Lowery. Marques Bryant is charged with four counts of bank robbery. (Click2Houston)
3. Houston police are looking for a man accused of robbing and kidnapping his roommate. The incident allegedly took place at a home on Eado Place Circle on Mother's Day evening. According to Justin Iwuji, the suspect is a man who had been renting a room at his home for more than a year. 29-year-old Joshua Deloach is wanted for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and aggravated kidnapping. 4. A missing 82-year-old woman was found dead in a car on Monday afternoon, deputies said. Edna Jackson was reported missing on Monday after she was last seen Sunday in the 100 block of Cypress Station Drive. (ABC 13)
5. Fat Boy's Pizza will open its first Houston-area location in Richmond at The Grand at Aliana, a development at the intersection of West Airport Boulevard and the Grand Parkway. It claims to make the "World's Biggest Pizza Slice." (CultureMap Houston)
