Pearland Resident Claims $17.75M Texas Lottery Jackpot

PEARLAND, TX — A Pearland resident claimed a $17.75 million jackpot for the June 1 Lotto Texas drawing, according to the Texas Lottery.
The winner, who elected to remain anonymous, bought the ticket at a Murphy USA gas station at 3200 Dixie Farm Road in Pearland.
The person selected the cash value option at the time of purchase and will receive $11.93 million before taxes.

In addition to the jackpot, nearly 45,000 tickets won prizes ranging from $2 to $12,156 for the same drawing. Lotto Texas drawings occur every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.
