Police Release Video Of Murder During Armed Robbery

HOUSTON, TX — Houston Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect who gunned down a man outside a convenience store the day after Christmas.

Police released video of the incident on Thursday that showed the victim, who still has not been identified, leaving a convenience store in the 8900 Scott Street at about 11:05 p.m. on Dec. 26.

The victim is approached by a young black man wearing a dark hoodie, a muscle shirt, and dark pants, who points a gun at the man.

The two were seen struggling before the victim is shot and the suspect flees on foot.
The victim was taken to Ben Taub Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
