Police Search For High Risk Sex Offender

Michael Lewis Martin, who is considered a high risk sex offender, is wanted for a parole violation, police said.

HOUSTON, TX — Houston Crime Stoppers and the Office of the Texas Attorney General’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit are looking for a convicted sex offender who is wanted for a parole violation, according to police.

Michael Lewis Martin, 32, is wanted for a parole violation on the original charge of a sex crime.

Police said Martin left from a home located in the 3300 block of Bandell Drive on Sept. 6 without permission.

The fugitive has family living in Missouri City, Texas and may possibly be in that area. Martin drives a 2014 black Chrysler 300 with Texas license plate HMZ9818. Police said Martin has violent tendencies and is considered a high risk sex offender.

Martin is a black male, 5-feet-5 and approximately 120 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his neck, hands, arms, and chest.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to Martin’s arrest. Information may be reported by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477).
