Road Rage Incident Erupts With Assault Of Elderly Driver
Police are looking for the man who beat a 68-year-old man during a road rage incident in October

HOUSTON, TX — Investigators are looking for the man who assaulted a 68-year-old man during a road rage incident. Harris County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit said the apparent road rage happened in east Harris County, on Saturday, Oct. 6.
The victim told deputies he was driving a 2017 Volvo 600 semi-truck and leaving the parking lot of Loves's Truck stop at about 6:00 pm., when a young Hispanic man driving a late model black colored Cadillac Escalade was unable to pass the semi as he was leaving the parking lot, and became angry.
The driver said the man blew his horn numerous times and continued to follow the truck after entering the roadway.

The victim said the driver of the Escalade stopped his vehicle in front of the rig, walked toward the rig yelling at the driver. When the driver of the semi got out of his rig, the driver of the Escalade hit hi several times, knocking him to the ground and fled the area.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for numerous cuts and bruises. The subject is described as a Hispanic man, 20 to 25-years old. He is 5-feet-8-to 5-feet-9 inches tall with a stocky build.

He has dark brown hair and brown colored eyes. The Cadillac Escalade has a Houston Astros's and a Houston Texans sticker on the upper passenger side tailgate glass. Anyone with information on this subject is urged to call the HCSO Violent Crimes unit at 713-274-9100.
