Second 'High-Risk' Sex Offender Escapes Halfway House
Kenneth Farenworth, 53, is the second sex offender in a week to escape from the same Houston-area halfway house

HOUSTON, TX – A man, who police consider a high-risk sex offender, has escaped from a halfway house in Houston. Kenneth Farenworth, 53, removed his ankle monitor and escaped from the halfway house located in the 10900 block of Beaumont Highway.
It's the same halfway house that sex offender Jerry Don Seib, 53, escaped from on July 26. Seib, who was also considered a high-risk sex offender, was arrested on July 31.
Farenworth was convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child in Dallas County. He is considered dangerous due to his violent tendencies, police said.

Farenworth is a white male, 53-years-old, 6-feet tall and approximately 164 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes, a scar on his left eye area, and a tattoo on his upper left arm.
Crime Stoppers and the Office of the Texas Attorney General’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit need the public's assistance locating this convicted sex offender, and are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
