Spring ISD Offers Free Breakfast And Lunch For Children

Children under 18 who live in the Spring area will have access to free breakfast and lunch throughout June.

SPRING, TXChildren under the age of 18 who live in the Spring area will have access to free breakfast and lunch through the Spring Independent School District’s Summer Feeding Program.

The program will operate Monday through Thursday at 13 campuses across the district throughout the month of June, with many extending into July. Spring ISD will be closed July 3 and 4.

Children under the age of 18 are eligible and do not have to be enrolled in summer school or show proof of income to receive a free meal at the participating schools. Adults may also participate by purchasing breakfast for $1.50 and lunch for $3.50 each.

The summer feeding program is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). All meals are based on national nutrition standards to ensure children receive the appropriate nutrients to maintain a balanced diet.

Breakfast and lunch dates, hours and locations for the 13 participating elementary, middle and high school campuses are listed below.
