HOUSTON, TX — It's the last weekend of 2018 and while most are looking forward to the ball dropping in New York's Time Square, there are events happening this weekend all over the Houston are that will have you looking forward to 2019.

Indoor Skydiving at iFly Houston| The Woodlands| Friday - Sunday| You don’t need to take to the skies and plummet a mile high to take skydiving off your bucket list. Click here for hours and rates.

Funfetti Fridays at Discovery Green| | Houston| Friday 7pm to 9pm| Take to the ice and skate to some fabulous tunes under a colorful light show. Skate rentals are $4, and tickets are $11.

Disc and Donuts at Eureka Heights Brewing Co| Saturday10am to noon| It’s 5 O’Clock somewhere, and that means OK to be sipping craft brew, noshing on pastries and kicking back and listening to cool vinyl tunes. No Cover.

New Year’s Eve Historical Bash|George Ranch in Richmond| Saturday 9-5| Admission $15, seniors are $12 and kids $10| Get a jumpstart to 2019 with a day of crafting. Imagine the masks and noisemakers you can create in time for New Year’s Eve.

The Joke Joint Comedy Showcase| Friday-Monday| Wow! What a year it's been. We've moved into a new location, with two showrooms and a large lounge and restaurant area.
