What's Happening In Houston On Memorial Day Weekend
It's the official start of summer, and if you're not at a barbecue, the beach or a pool party, there are plenty of events in Houston.
HOUSTON — One of America's most solemn observances is also the official start to the summer season. Schools in the Houston area will be closing next week, bringing an end to the 2018-2019 school year.
Pools will open and many traditional summer time barbecues and festivals will fire up this weekend.
However, on Monday Houstonians can also gather in various locations in the Houston community to honor those veterans who paid the ultimate price for our freedoms.
