What's Open And What's Closed In Houston On July 4th

All city and county offices will be closed, except for police, fire and other essential services. Offices should reopen on July 5.

HOUSTON, TX -- Independence Day is a federal holiday, and that means a majority of all city and county offices will be closed on July 4th to celebrate our nation's independence.

What will be open will be police and fire departments, hospitals and ambulance services.

  • Jersey Village
  • Tomball
  • Humble
  • Crosby
  • Baytown
  • Fort Bend County Offices and Municipal Courts
  • Sugar Land
  • Stafford
  • Missouri City
  • Rosenberg
  • Richmond
  • Katy
  • Brazoria County Offices and Municipal Courts
  • Seabrook
  • Friendswood
  • Pearland
  • Alvin
  • League City
  • Santa Fe
  • Kemah
  • Clear Lake
  • Montgomery County Offices and Municipal Courts
  • Conroe
  • The Woodlands
  • Shenadoah
  • Oak Ridge North
  • Montgomery
  • Magnolia

Trash services will not operate on Wednesday, and will resume the following day.
