Man Shoots Girlfriend In Front Of Their Son On Christmas Day
A woman received a bullet wound from her boyfriend for Christmas, after police said he shot her in front of their son, police said.

HOUSTON, TX — Christmas Day was not so merry for a Houston couple after a 38-year-old man shot his girlfriend during an argument, police said. Houston Police arrested Hector Chavez and charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he shot her in front of their son.
Police were called at about 10:45 p.m. on Christmas night to a home in the 300 block of E. Rittenhouse Street in north Houston for a shooting.
When police arrived at the home, they found 32-year-old Juana Saenz suffering from a gunshot wound to her stomach.

Saenz was taken to Ben Taub Hospital by EMS in critical condition and is expected to recover.
