Woman Killed Trying To Cross I-45 In Oak Ridge North
A woman was hit by several cars and killed as she tried to cross I-45 north at about 3 a.m. Wednesday, police said.
THE WOODLANDS, TX — A woman who tried to cross Interstate 45 in The Woodlands Wednesday morning was hit and killed, police said. The fatal accident happened at I-45 north and The Woodlands Parkway at about 3 a.m.
Witnesses told police that the woman was hit several times by passing motorists. One of those motorists stopped and waited for police to arrive.
The fatality accident caused backups for at least four miles on I-45 north.

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers closed I-45 north at Lake Woodlands Parkway until the investigation is completed. Police expect northbound lanes to reopen later this morning.
