100 Club Assists Dependents of Agents Salas & Galloway

HOUSTON, TX (January 23, 2022) The 100 Club, a 69-year-old Houston-based non-profit organization, which supports the dependents of law enforcement officers and firefighters killed or seriously injured in the line of duty, announces its assistance for the dependent families of Texas Department of Public Safety Special Agent Anthony Salas and Harris County Precinct 5 Corporal Charles Galloway who were killed in the line of duty, in separate incidents. 37-year-old Special Agent Salas was injured in a tragic accident near Eagle Pass and died of his injuries on Saturday, January 22, 2022. He is survived by a wife and three children. 47-year-old Corporal Galloway was shot and killed during a traffic stop in Houston on Sunday, January 23, 2022. He is survived by a daughter.

A $20,000 check will be presented to help with any immediate financial needs. Additional financial support for the dependent family will be made after an assessment of their needs is conducted. Over 200 officer and firefighter families have been assisted, with more than $24 Million in financial assistance being provided.

Donations are being accepted to “The 100 Club Survivor’s Fund”, that provides benefits to the dependents of firefighters and law enforcement officers who are killed or seriously injured in the line of duty.
