Atascocita Assisted Living Facility Catches Fire
The fire started at Rosemont on Tuesday morning and has since been put out. Residents were evacuated, and damages are unknown.

ATASCOCITA, TX — Rosemont Assisted Living Center in Atascocita caught fire on Tuesday morning.
The Atascocita Fire Department received a call about the fire at approximately 11:20 a.m. Rosemont staff members already were helping residents out of the building when the Atascocita Fire Department arrived and assisted evacuation efforts, according to authorities.
The fire started on a stovetop in the kitchen of the facility, and firefighters were able to quickly put it out. There were no injuries, and residents were given the all clear to re-enter the building, according to Atascocita Fire Department spokesperson Jerry Dilliard.

A video tweeted by the Atascocita Fire Department shows two fire engines at the facility, and an alarm can be heard coming from the building.
