Martin thanked Houston's Department of Neighborhoods Director TaKasha Francis for her assistance with expediting the demolition permit process.

"These town homes are a constant reminder to the community of the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey," he said.

Martin added that HCFCD has done a tremendous job in keeping our office informed on the status of the demolition process for these Hurricane Harvey buyout properties. To stay informed on HCFCD's buyout program process visit their website.
