Houston Emergency Center coordinates responses across city

(Tribune)

On July 20, Kingwood’s Positive Interaction Program (PIP) meeting was all about what makes Houston, the nation’s fourth largest city, able to handle its thousands of emergencies, both big and small, day in and day out, 24 hours a day. Michael Gunter of the Houston Police Department Communications Division provided a presentation about how it all works.
