Missing Kingwood Teen Found Shot To Death In Porter

Nearby residents of the Summer Hills Subdivision discovered the body of Tristan Maddux on Sunday morning, police said.

PORTER, TX — A Kingwood teenager who was reported missing by his family on Saturday was found shot to death in a ditch on Sunday morning. Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were called at about 9:50 a.m. to a 18800 block of Hill Road near the Summer Hills Subdivision, after residents walking nearby found a man’s body in a ditch.

Deputies arrived and determined that the man, identified as Tristan Maddux, had been shot at that location and his body left in the ditch.

Maddux, who lived in Kingwood, was reported missing by his family to Houston Police. The body was taken to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for an autopsy.
