I make no bones about it … this is my favorite time of year. Even grumpy people tend to have an iota more patience and kindness. The Christmas hymns and songs we sing that declare what the season is really about … “O Holy Night,” “Silent Night,” “Joy to the World” even “Ave Maria” all bring warm fuzzies to my soul … I don’t quite get the same feeling with “Santa Baby” or “Grandma Got Runover by a Reindeer,” or “Oh Baby It’s Cold Outside.” Those don’t really do it for me.
