Northpark Drive projects continue at snail's pace but shovels in ground are on horizon
Kingwood’s Houston City Councilman Dave Martin and all of Kingwood will have to continue being patient while frustrated about when the long awaited Northpark Drive overpass work will begin. Once started, it will take years for the overpass over the Loop 494 intersection and railroad crossing to Highway 59/69 to become a reality and longer for the road reconstruction and expansion east into Kingwood. That reality was made clear to everyone including Martin at the Feb. 10 board of directors meeting of the Lake Houston Redevelopment Authority and Tax Reinvestment Zone Ten (TIRZ.)
