Salons in Humble, Porter and New Caney Cutting for Charity
Salons in Humble, Porter and New Caney are cutting hair to help victims of human trafficking and domestic violence.

HUMBLE, TX — Three salons along the Northeast Harris County/Southeast Montgomery County border will be cutting hair for a cause on Aug. 14. The inaugural cut-a-thon will raise money for Heaven's Army new transitional center.
Heaven's Army is a women's center dedicated to helping victims of human trafficking, prostitution and domestic violence — as well as those suffering from mental illness, including depression and drug use — transform their lives.

On Sunday, Aug. 14, participating salons in Humle, New Caney and Porter will offer women name your own price haircuts, with all of the proceeds going to Heaven's Army. The non-profit plans to use the funds to help renovate a duplex in Cleveland, TX for use as transitional housing.
