Splendora School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

HUMBLEWOOD-KINGWOOD, TX — The first day of school in Splendora is August 15 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Splendora School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

September

• 9/3: No School (Labor Day)

October

• 10/12: Early Release
• 10/15: No School (Professional Learning)

November

• 11/19 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/20: Early Release
• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1 - 1/4: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/7: No School (Professional Learning)

February

• 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day)

March

• 3/8: Early Release
• 3/11 - 3/15: No School (Spring Recess)
• 3/18: No School (Professional Learning)

April

• 4/19: No School (Good Friday)

May

• 5/24: Last Day of School / Early Dismissal
