Tornado Warning Expires For Lake Houston Area, SE Montgomery Co.
A tornado watch is still in effect until 4 p.m. for Harris and Montgomery counties.
HUMBLE-KINGWOOD, TX — A tornado warning issued by the National Weather Service for southeastern Montgomery County and northeastern Harris County expired at 9:15 a.m.
A storm capable of producing a tornado passed over the Porter Heights area at 8:47 a.m. and was moving east along Grand Parkway through Kingwood and Lake Houston, as well as New Caney and Porter in Montgomery County.
A tornado watch is still in effect in Harris and Montgomery counties until 4 p.m. Wednesday.
