Torrential Rains Cause Flooding In Humble, Kingwood
A storm dumped four inches of rain over southeast Montgomery County, and northeast Harris County within an hour.
HUMBLE, TX -- Fast moving storms dumped more than four inches of rain over saturated areas of southeast Montgomery County, and northeast Harris County within an hour on Tuesday afternoon.
The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for residents in southeast Montgomery County, northwest Liberty County, and northeast Harris County.
The storm caused street flooding in areas of Humble, Kingwood and Atascocitsa, officials said. More rain is expected over the next several day, and that means the chance of flooding in some areas is possible with the ground still saturated from last weeks storms.
